Paul Lindfield is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in firmware and software development, particularly in embedded systems and digital signal processing. Currently serving as a Senior Firmware Developer at SMART Technologies since November 2009, Paul focuses on interactive displays and collaboration solutions. Prior roles include Staff Engineer at Infineon Technologies, where contributions ensured the successful sales of up to four million chipsets monthly, and Member of Technical Staff at Agere Systems, paralleling duties at Infineon. Previous experiences also include a sabbatical for world travel, Senior Software Engineer at NEC Technologies for mobile handset development, and Senior Design Engineer at Racal Electronics plc, managing DSP software modules. Paul holds a Master of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton, obtained in 1998.
