Brinda Kadaba, PhD, is a Senior Test and Automation Developer at SMART Technologies, with extensive experience in system test automation and validation. Since joining SMART in 2007, Brinda has progressed from Research Scientist Intern in Image Processing to Research Scientist and currently holds a key role in system validation and test engineering. Contributions include the design and implementation of optical camera-based firmware algorithms, resulting in significant improvements in product performance and manufacturing efficiencies. Brinda is a co-inventor of multiple patents related to touch algorithms and has received numerous accolades, including a President Club Team Award for contributions to significant product lines. Brinda holds both a PhD and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary.
