Todd Lapin began their work experience as a Regional Sales Manager at Ven-Tel, Inc in 1987. Todd excelled in sales, achieving 135% of their goal and winning the "Salesman of the Year" award in 1990. Todd then transitioned to Artisoft, Inc in 1991 as the Director of Sales. There, they managed a team of account executives and negotiated OEM agreements with PC manufacturers and software developers. In 1999, Lapin started their own sales and marketing consultancy called Alliance Consulting Partners, where they provided services to small and medium-sized software development firms. Todd successfully closed a $400K contract with EDS. In 2004, Lapin joined MicroEdge as the Regional Sales Director, responsible for sales of their enterprise grants management database platform throughout North America. Todd managed over 250 client relationships. In 2010, Lapin returned to Alliance Consulting Partners as President, offering independent consulting services for end users and progressive software firms. Todd specialized in the nonprofit and education markets. Currently, since 2013, Lapin has been serving as the Director of Strategic Accounts at SmartSimple Software Inc. In this role, they manage the company's relationships with a variety of clients in the philanthropic community throughout North America.
