João Almeida is a seasoned software engineer currently working at smartrr since April 2022. Prior to this role, João served as an instructor at mesttra. where João contributed to the 1000Devs program, aimed at empowering youths in social vulnerability by teaching development skills. João has also held positions at XP Inc. as a software engineer, and at mesttra. as a product and tech lead as well as a teacher. Additionally, João worked in various capacities at Zup Innovation, Verity, and NTT DATA, with a strong focus on Java development and web applications. Educationally, João is pursuing a master's degree in IT from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia while holding a bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the same institution, and a technical degree in Industrial Mining from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais.
