Richard Pihlcrantz is an experienced software manager and developer with a diverse background in embedded systems and software development. Currently serving as Software Manager at Smartoptics since March 2022, Richard has a proven track record of leading teams and developing software solutions. Prior to this role, Richard worked at Mojang Studios and Biolit AB, contributing expertise in C, Modern C++, and Embedded Linux across various projects. Previous positions include multiple software development roles at companies such as Smartoptics, Net Insight, Infinera, and Enea, focusing on embedded applications for the telecom and automotive industries. Richard's career began with software development and testing roles at Eskilstuna ElektronikPartner, B T S, and TSS AB. Educational qualifications were obtained from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 1993 and 1997.
