Dmitry Rodin is a Senior Researcher and Head of Data Analysis Unit at the Institute for Personalized and Translational Medicine since January 2020, focusing on the automation of genetics data processing and the development of a Medical Cannabis Library utilizing text mining algorithms. Dmitry also serves as a Project Manager and Developer at SmartOmica, where supervision of an AI-based tool for text mining biomedical articles and analysis of patient data for personalized medicine is a primary responsibility. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at Ariel University, exploring the genetic and biochemical underpinnings of social behavior in mice and conducting clinical trials for sensor-based dehydration detection. Dmitry has held research positions at the Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute, Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf, and Weizmann Institute of Science, and possesses a PhD in Genetics from Saint Petersburg State University, along with advanced degrees in Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology.
