Savas Komban is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the technology and venture capital sectors. As Co-Founder and CEO of Smartlens since 2018, Savas leads the development of innovative solutions for glaucoma management, including the flagship product miLens. Concurrently, Savas serves as an Investor and Partner at Mighty Capital, a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. Prior to these roles, Savas held significant positions at NTT DATA Business Solutions, including Senior Vice President & Head of Global Business Innovation, where strategic global initiatives were managed, and President and CEO of NTT DATA Business Solutions Turkey, where breakthrough technologies were developed. Savas founded itelligence TR, expanding its operations globally, and had earlier roles in SAP and Unilever, notably managing pioneering supply chain projects. Savas holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Orta DoÄŸu Teknik Ãœniversitesi and completed studies at Stanford Continuing Studies.
