Daniel Wenger is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience at Swiss International Air Lines since July 2009, where roles have included Senior Captain, Captain, and Senior First Officer. Daniel currently holds the position of Head of Training at Motorfluggruppe Thun while also serving as a flight instructor and consultant for PROTEUS. As a co-founder of smartflyer ltd, Daniel is involved in developing hybrid-electric aircraft. Daniel contributes to the aviation community as an author for both Aero Revue Das Schweizer Aviatik-Magazin and Luft- und Raumfahrtzeitschrift COCKPIT. With a strong educational background in aeronautics and mechanical engineering, Daniel has also held various leadership roles and certifications throughout a diverse aviation career.
