Angela Bell has been working in the field since 2001. Angela began their career as an Evidence Technician with the Nebraska State Patrol. In 2006, they became a Fingerprint Technician, and in 2009, they took on the roles of Digital Forensic Examiner, Crime Analyst for the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Division, and Field Intelligence Representative, where they conducted tactical research on persons of interest for Criminal, Drug, and ICAC investigators and disseminated research in intelligence reports and/or requested intelligence products such as event timelines and bulletins. In 2018, they became the Midwest Lab Manager for Smartflow Technologies Inc.
Angela Bell obtained a Masters degree in Forensic Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University between 2006 and 2009. Angela also obtained a BS in Natural Resources and Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1996 and 2001. In 2015, they obtained a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner certification from the IACIS The International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists in October, and an EnCase Certified Examiner certification from Guidance Software in February.
