Paulius Dambrauskas is an experienced R&D Engineer currently working at Smarter Grid Solutions since August 2023. Previously, Paulius held the position of R&D Engineer at PNDC from February 2020 to August 2021, where significant work was done on designing IEC61850 based distribution digital substations. An academic background includes a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering obtained from the University of Strathclyde, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering degree in the same field. Paulius has engaged in various research initiatives, including system integration for global multi-laboratory testing and the development of measurement and control systems for the European Space Agency funded Enersyn Project. Additionally, a secondment at RTDS Technologies Inc. provided Paulius with advanced training in software and hardware, focusing on commercial limitations of research applications. Prior work experience includes positions as an Auditor at Orridge and as a Vision Engineer Assistant at Arena Television Limited.
