Naomi P. is a skilled software engineer currently working at Smartcar since December 2021, having progressed from an Associate Software Engineer role. Prior experience includes a data engineering internship at the University of Southern California's Information Science Institute, where Naomi engineered an ETL pipeline for Wikidata and enhanced a Python-based application. Naomi also contributed as an ontology research intern, creating knowledge graphs and user-friendly documentation. Naomi's earlier research involvement at the University of Maryland included developing neuron models and simulations for neurological disease treatments, supported by a peer mentoring role.
