Jennifer Stepter has a strong background in banking and finance, with over 20 years of experience. Jennifer started their career as an Associate Commercial Lender at Bank of Tuscaloosa, a Division of Synovus Bank in 2001, where they worked for 11 years. In 2012, they joined Synovus Financial Corporation as a Credit Analyst, a role they held until 2012. Jennifer then joined Capstone Bank in 2012 as a Commercial Lending Associate. Most recently, they have been with SmartBank since 2017, serving in various roles including Commercial Loan Administrator, Assistant Vice President, and currently as the VP and Lead Loan Administrator.

Jennifer Stepter attended Stillman College from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they also studied Core Courses of Study at Shelton State Community College from 2001 to 2003.
