Sara Wells has a diverse work experience history. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Business Development at SmartSeal, a leading phygital platform that utilizes NFC and blockchain technology to connect physical products to digital passports. Before joining SmartSeal, Sara founded their own management consulting firm called Metanoia Services LLC in 2020. Sara also briefly worked as a founding team member at Mint Gold Dust in 2021. In 2020, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Trace, BBLLC. Prior to that, Sara gained valuable experience at Goldman Sachs, where they worked as an Associate in Institutional Asset Management Sales & Distribution from 2015 to 2018, and as an Operations Analyst from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Quality Assurance Manager at Peter Pan Seafoods, Inc. from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they started their professional journey as an intern at The London Center Language School in 2010.

Sara Wells has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing (Honors) from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Sara attended the university from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, they participated in a study abroad program called CIEE Cape Town Arts & Sciences Program at the University of Cape Town for one semester.

Sara has also obtained various certifications. In 2016, they acquired a Series 63 License from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and a Series 7 License - General Securities Representative Exam (GSRE) from the same institution. In 2019, they became a Certified Beer Server through the Cicerone® Certification Program. Recently, in 2021, they completed the Build Your Project Management Skills, Learning Gantt Charts, and Project Management Foundations courses from LinkedIn. Sara also completed the SheCodes Basics workshop from SheCodes Workshops in December 2021.
