Gilles Frydman has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1995 as the Founder of ACOR (Association of Cancer Online Resources). Gilles then became a Member of Cook's Branch Health Initiative in 2000, and Co-founder & Chair of Smart Patients in 2012. In 2017, they founded Not A Drawing, LLC. Most recently, in 2020, they took on the roles of Executive Director and Chief Health Strategist of the American Sleep Apnea Association.

Gilles Frydman attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1976 to 1980, where they obtained a B.Sc in Animal Biology. Gilles also attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, School of Agriculture, where they obtained a B.Sc in Animal Biology.
