Nikolay Kirpichnikov is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Partner at AltaIR Capital and a Founding Partner at P2S.VC since November 2023, as well as a Managing Partner at Smart Partnership Capital since December 2019. Previously, Nikolay held the position of Managing Director at Firestrong from September 2017 to December 2019. From January 2013 to August 2017, Nikolay worked at Shell as NBD Manager for Upstream Commercial, focusing on the Nord Stream 2 project, and as Business Development Manager for LNG, where responsibilities included driving small-scale LNG market development in Russia and the CIS region. Nikolay's extensive experience also includes roles at Salym Petroleum Development, where contributions ranged from Commercial Manager for New Technologies to Strategy, Business Planning and Economics Manager, alongside earlier roles in project evaluation and risk management. Nikolay Kirpichnikov holds a Master's degree in International Economics from Belarusian State Economic University, obtained between 1999 and 2005.
