David Rouchet is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in product development and R&D leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Smart Monkeys Inc. since March 2023, David previously held significant roles at Barco, including Head of R&D Program for the subscription-based weConnect software and R&D Director for A/V Control & Show Control, where responsibilities involved leading agile development teams, ensuring scalable architecture, and translating business requirements into user-focused solutions. Prior to Barco, David was the Technical Director at Medialon Inc. and Medialon, overseeing development teams, defining product roadmaps, and managing the intersection of software and hardware for audiovisual automation. David's educational background includes an engineering degree in Software Development from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers and degrees in photography and electronic & industrial computer science.
