Ahmed Sulaiti has a long history of founding companies, beginning in 2015 with Smart Management IT Solutions. Ahmed then founded Ushop Tax Free Ltd in 2016, followed by itialuS Global in 2019. In 2021, they founded WallPost Software, and in 2022 they became both the Founder and CEO of Tamias POS and Co-Founder of Libra Incentix.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) announced the availability of up to $3 million in funding for research, education and extension projects that address the development of regional food systems. The Regional Food Systems Partnership (RFSP) program is authorized by the Agriculture Act of 2014 (2014 Farm Bill) to support projects that increase access to and availability of locally and regionally produced agricultural products, and to develop new market opportunities for farm and ranch operations serving local markets.
This is a competitive grants program that will fund projects that are collaborative, multi-state, regional efforts to strengthen the infrastructure of regional food systems. The program will support projects that focus on the development of regional food systems and include activities such as:
• Enhancing production and marketing of locally and regionally produced agricultural products
• Increasing access to and availability of locally and regionally produced agricultural products
• Developing new market opportunities for farm and ranch operations serving local and regional markets
• Supporting research and education programs related to regional food systems
• Supporting extension programs related to regional food systems
• Supporting other activities that strengthen the infrastructure of regional food systems
The program is open to applicants from the following entities:
• State agricultural experiment stations
• Colleges and universities
• Other research and education institutions and organizations
• Federal agencies
• National laboratories
• Non-profit organizations
• Private organizations
• For-profit organizations
