Martina Grgic began their career as a Freelance Product Design Development Engineer in 2014. In 2016, they Co-Founded and became the COO of Smart Lumies, a gaming company that makes unique custom hardware controllers for digital and physical play. In 2017, they became a HAX startup founder and alumni.

Martina Grgic obtained their High School degree from XV. Gimnazija, Zagreb in 2008. Martina then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu, which they completed in 2013. Following this, they obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2015. In 2014, they also obtained a Master's Degree from TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Design & Engineering.
