Murat Derya Ozen's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Murat Derya is currently the Co-founder & CTO of Smart Kiwi, where they are involved in building next-generation data intelligence products for mobility and logistics. Murat Derya is leading the development of a SaaS platform that utilizes machine learning and geospatial predictive modeling to optimize fleet distribution for shared mobility companies.

Prior to Smart Kiwi, Murat worked as an Entrepreneur at Antler and as the Founder of Heartspace. At Heartspace, they led a team of 4 and was responsible for overseeing product strategy, app development, Instagram community growth, and content creation. Heartspace started as a side project and grew into a startup with the launch of their mobile app.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Murat gained significant experience at Bloomberg LP as a Mobile - Project Lead & Senior Developer. Murat Derya played a key role in launching high-visibility projects and initiatives on Bloomberg's mobile app, demonstrating technical leadership in iOS/Android development and backend development.

Murat also worked as a Software Developer at SAP, where they focused on predictive analytics and optimization of airline fleets' maintenance costs. Murat Derya led the development of SAP's Hana Python-based database driver. Prior to SAP, they worked as a Software Engineer at Turkcell and interned at Pozitron.

Furthermore, Murat has completed summer trainee programs at Oracle and Microsoft, where they gained valuable experience in the field.

Murat Derya Ozen's education history spans over several institutions and degrees. Murat Derya pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabanci University, which they completed from 2007 to 2011. As part of their undergraduate program, they participated in the Erasmus Exchange Program at Uppsala University in 2010, focusing on Information Technology.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Murat moved on to Boğaziçi University, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree. Murat Derya attended Boğaziçi University from 2011 to 2012. Unfortunately, the field of study for their master's degree is not specified.

Alongside their academic achievements, Murat Derya Ozen obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in May 2016.
