Noam Benkler is a researcher at SIFT (Smart Information Flow Technologies) since July 2020, previously serving as an associate researcher. Prior experience includes working as a lab assistant to Professor David Lazer at Northeastern University, where data structuring and analysis were performed on large Twitter datasets using Jupyter notebooks. Additional roles encompass outdoor educator responsibilities at Overland Summers, managing and guiding trips for teenagers, and conducting laboratory research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for a postdoctoral researcher. Benkler also has experience as an animal care technician at Carleton College and a fish aquaculture worker. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Data Science from Tufts University, a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Carleton College, and an Emergency Medical Technician certification from NOLS.
