Elena Sand, CPA, possesses extensive experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as the Assistant Controller at Smallwood since February 2019. Prior roles include Controller at NELSON Worldwide, Assistant Controller at Collins Cooper Carusi Architects, and Accounting Supervisor at Recall. Additionally, Elena held the position of Controller at Wakefield Beasley & Associates, a notable architectural firm ranked 12th by Atlanta Business Chronicle. Earlier in the career, Elena worked as a Senior Auditor at both Reznick Fedder & Silverman and Grant Thornton LLC, and as a Senior Accountant at Nakanishi Manufacturing Corporation.
