Gabriel Prado has a diverse work experience in the field of agriculture and greenhouse systems. Gabriel started their career at the University of Arizona as a Greenhouse Technician, where they gained practical experience in maintaining greenhouse operations. Gabriel then joined Dayton Valley Aquaponics as a Greenhouse Production member, further expanding their knowledge in greenhouse production.
Gabriel later returned to the University of Arizona, where they worked as a Student Researcher. During this time, they designed and implemented a thermally insulated aerobic bioreactor for organic hydroponic solutions, demonstrating their skills in system design and sensor deployment.
Continuing their education, Gabriel became a Senior Design Team Member at the University of Arizona, where they contributed to designing and testing an automated lysimeter system to optimize greenhouse efficiency.
After their university experiences, Gabriel joined Smallhold as a Farm Technician, where they maintained and improved mushroom grow chambers while collecting and optimizing environmental data. Gabriel later transitioned to the role of Integration Engineer at Smallhold, where they installed, commissioned, integrated, and tested control equipment on both Macrofarms and Minifarms.
Throughout their career, Gabriel has consistently shown a strong understanding of agricultural systems, including troubleshooting, data analysis, and documentation. Their work experience highlights their proficiency in greenhouse operations, system optimization, and hands-on problem-solving.
Gabriel Prado obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from the University of Arizona. Gabriel attended the university from 2017 to 2020.
