Rocco Bowling has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2000. In that year, they began working as an Advanced Graphics and Data Analysis Researcher at the National Security Agency. In 2001, they became the Owner of Chimera Software, LLC, where they designed, developed, and published complex strategy games for iOS. From 2006 to 2008, they served as an Industry Consultant and OpenGL Instructor at Big Nerd Ranch, Inc., where they developed a week-long course for OpenGL development and instructed many classes in the use and development of OpenGL. In 2008, they began working as a Senior Visioneer at Las Vegas Gaming, Inc., where they lead application development on the PlayerVision project. Finally, from 2010 to the present, they have served as Chief Technology Officer at Small Planet Digital, where they have architected, developed, directed, and managed all mobile application development. Rocco has also trained a team of developers from all levels of experience and developed bleeding-edge technologies and techniques to increase productivity, reduce cost, and raise the quality of products delivered.
Rocco Bowling attended The University of Akron from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
