Keith Jones is an experienced professional in the mining industry with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as General Manager at Small Mine Development, LLC since September 2005, Keith oversees all operations of the underground mining contractor. Prior to this role, Keith was the Projects Manager at SMD, managing day-to-day operations, operational issues, contracts, and client interactions. Before joining Small Mine Development, Keith owned a consulting business that provided mine engineering services, including notable projects such as Coeur Rochester and the Dolores feasibility study. Keith's earlier experience includes various engineering roles at Echo Bay Minerals, McCoy/Cove, where responsibilities escalated to Chief Engineer and Technical Services Manager over the years. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, earned between 1981 and 1985.
