Ville Järvi has a diverse work experience in the field of animation and graphic design. Ville started their career as a Graphic Artist and Animator at Graphic State Games in 1999. In 2001, they joined AMO Oy as a Graphic Designer and Webmaster, where they were responsible for graphic design, content creation for websites, and website administration. Ville worked there until 2009. From 2009 to 2014, Ville worked as a Freelancer, taking on various projects as a Motion Designer, Graphic Artist, and Filmmaker. Ville worked on VFX/Motion Graphics projects, directed documentaries, company videos, and short films. Ville also provided cinematography and graphic work for clients. In 2014, Ville joined Studio Outo as an Animator and Digital Artist, where they worked on commercials for TV and online platforms. Ville also contributed to a children's animated series by creating character, FX, and background animations and compositing shots. In 2015, Ville joined ZetaDisplay Finland as an Art Director and Animator/Motion Graphics Designer. Ville worked in this role until 2017. Currently, they are working at Small Giant Games since 2018. Ville initially joined as a Motion Graphic Designer, designing and animating UA marketing videos for the game Empires & Puzzles. In 2019, they transitioned into the role of a Game Animator, where they continue to work.
Ville Järvi completed their Upper Secondary School education at Laanilan Lukio / Oulun Aikuislukio in 2002. From 2009 to 2013, they attended Lahti University of Applied Sciences - Institute of Design and Fine Arts, where they specialized in Directing and Screenwriting / Film and Television.
