Cassie Mills obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature from Louisiana State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Cassie then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English with a focus on Professional Editing at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they received a Graduate Certificate in Professional Editing from the same institution in May 2012.
