Chris Edwards has a diverse work experience across various roles in the advertising and creative industry. Chris started their career at Arnold Worldwide as a Jr. Copywriter and worked their way up to become one of the four EVP/Group Creative Directors. During their time at Arnold Worldwide, they gained proficiency in print, outdoor, collateral, POP, TV, video, radio, digital, and experiential marketing.
In 2012, Chris founded their own company, Chris Edwards Creative, where they served as a Creative Director, Copywriter, and Brand Strategist. As a freelance Creative Director, they helped brands find their voice and communicate their message through compelling storytelling. Chris worked with clients such as Force of Nature, Mass DPH, Microsoft, AT&T, Wahlburgers, Sam Adams, Macy's, EF, Greater Boston PFLAG, and Nantucket's Wauwinet and White Elephant hotels.
In addition to their creative work, Chris also served as a Keynote Speaker, delivering inspirational and empowering speeches at ad agencies, conferences, corporations, and schools. Chris worked with clients such as Apple, Google, The Ad Club, The 3% Conference, Deutsch, Chiat Day, MullenLowe, JWT, Bacardi, Children's Hospital, Pfizer, Novartis, and Harvard.
Furthermore, Chris is an accomplished author who wrote, published, and promoted the best-selling memoir "BALLS: It Takes Some to Get Some." The memoir reached #1 in its category on Amazon and received accolades such as being a 2016 Shelf Awareness Best Book of the Year in Non-Fiction and a Foreword Reviews Indies Gold-winner.
Most recently, Chris joined Small Army as a Sr. Partner and Executive Creative Director in 2020. Chris'scurrent role involves leading the creative direction and strategy for the agency.
Chris Edwards holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology/Sociology from Colgate University.
