Matt Salinas has over 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Optimization Superintendent at SM Energy Company since December 2016, following roles as Senior Optimization Foreman, Senior Production Foreman, and Senior Engineering Technician - Artificial Lift. Prior to SM Energy, Matt held the position of Well Analyst at Devon Energy from April 2012 to December 2016 and worked as Production Tech II at Oxy Permian, along with previous positions at Energen, Stewart's Welding, Rex Electronics, and Tucker Construction. Matt graduated from Andrews High School in 2002 with a diploma.
