Brian Kalms has a strong background in management consulting and leadership roles. Brian started their career in 1987 at Accenture, where they worked for over 24 years, eventually becoming the Retail Managing Partner for the UK and Ireland. In 2012, they joined Elixirr as a Partner, focusing on building businesses through consulting. During this time, they also worked independently as a Management Consultant. In 2017, Kalms became a Non-Executive Director for Magen David Adom UK, supporting the fundraising efforts for Israel's primary emergency medical service. In 2020, they joined AlixPartners as a Managing Director. Most recently, they became the Chair and Non-Executive Director at Slip, a company dedicated to transforming the high street for a paperless future.

Brian Kalms attended The Latymer Grammar School from 1976 to 1983. Following their time at The Latymer Grammar School, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Econometrics at the University of Nottingham from 1983 to 1986.
