Robert H. began their work experience in 2000 as the Technical and Business Development Lead at Fluent, Inc. Robert worked there until 2006. In 2006, they joined Ansys as the Vertical Strategy and Growth Leader, a role they held until 2021. In 2021, Robert H. started working at Slingshot Simulations as the Chief Operating Officer, and in February 2023, they transitioned to the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Robert H. attended The University of Sheffield from 1990 to 2000, where they pursued an MEng, Ph.D, and Post Doctoral Research in the field of Engineering.
