Elaine Lonquist began their work experience in 1993 as a Weight Management Consultant at Jenny Craig, where they provided counseling and support to clients in their weight loss journey. In 1996, they transitioned to the Estee Lauder Group of Companies as a Business Manager, overseeing counter promotions and managing a team of 7 employees. In 2000, they joined Sleeman Breweries Ltd. as a Sales Representative, responsible for managing a territory of over 100 accounts, planning and executing promotions, and completing monthly reports.

Elaine Lonquist obtained a Certificate in Accounting from the North Shore School of Commerce from 1990 to 1991. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1989, they attended Capilano University where they studied English and Philosophy.
