Sanjeewa Malalgoda is a highly experienced technology professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering at WSO2 since September 2010, where responsibilities include leading the WSO2 API Manager team as both Technical Lead and Product Lead for a leading open-source API Management Platform. Sanjeewa has also held roles such as Associate Director, Architect, and Senior Technical Lead within the same organization. In addition to work at WSO2, Sanjeewa contributes as a Technical Committee Member at SLASSCOM and as a Contributor to the Open API Code Generator project. Previous experience includes activism with the Human Rights Organization in Sri Lanka and software engineering roles at DirectFN and IronOne Technologies. Sanjeewa holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Peradeniya and has furthered education with programs in leadership and product management from Cornell and Stanford universities, respectively, along with certifications in networking.
