David Ellis has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. David is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at slashBlue, a technology consulting and support firm. In this role, they lead the Technology Change business unit, focusing on digital transformation and cyber security. Prior to this, David was the Director of Investment Adoption at slashBlue and the Director of Managed Services.

Before their time at slashBlue, David was an Author, Speaker, and Founder at David Ellis Media. David founded and led this organization, focusing on helping men discover their true identity and mission in life through retreats and events.

Additionally, David has worked at Target as an International IT Leader/Project Management Consultant, playing key roles in various divisions including Target.com and Stores Systems Support, Target.com Development and CoE Project Management, and Enterprise Database Technologies.

David also has experience as the Owner and RKC-Certified Kettlebell fitness and strength trainer at IronFusion Fitness, where they developed training materials and managed the budget and accounting.

Earlier in their career, David was the IT Director of Professional Services at St. Croix Solutions, where they played a pivotal role in increasing division revenues. David also served as the IT Director at Carlson, responsible for setting IT direction for End User Computing, Collaboration, Infrastructure, and Security Solutions.

David Ellis attended Toccoa Falls College from 1987 to 1988, where they studied Psychology with a focus on Counseling Psychology. In addition to their academic studies, they obtained several certifications, including a USSF Soccer Referee- Level 7 (Youth- competitive level through Adult- recreation level) certification from the U.S. Soccer Federation in March 2015, an ITIL certification in January 2000 (institution not specified), and a MSHSL High School Soccer Official certification from the National Federation of State High School Associations in July 2015.
