Alex Sambvani has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Alex is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Slang.ai since July 2019. Prior to that, Alex worked as a Mentor at Techstars starting from June 2020. Alex also has experience at Spotify, where they held the position of Senior Data Scientist from December 2018 to June 2019, and Data Scientist from September 2017 to December 2018. Before joining Spotify, they worked as an MBA Intern at Spotify in 2016. Alex also has experience in the finance sector, having worked as an Analyst in Private Equity at Credit Suisse from July 2012 to July 2015, and as a Summer Analyst at Credit Suisse in 2011.

Alex Sambvani completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Harvard Business School from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, Alex obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. In 2018, Alex attended NYC Data Science Academy for a brief period to study Deep Learning in the field of Computer Science. Additionally, in 2017, Alex participated in the Software Engineering Immersive Program at Flatiron School, specializing in Computer Science.
