Kristen Bartel, CSM, is a Senior Quality Automation Engineer at Slalom Build, specializing in software engineering with a focus on scalable and secure quality automation for backend systems. Kristen leads agile development teams, implements quality strategies, and fosters continuous improvement while managing client relationships and mentoring talent. Prior experience includes full-stack web development at DigitalCrafts and roles as an Associate and Assistant Professor of Art and Design at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where Kristen exceeded expectations in high-impact teaching practices. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Fine Arts from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, along with additional training in coding and web development.
