James Lancaster currently serves as the VP of Product at Slack, focusing on AI, Search, and Platform since June 2022. Prior to this role, James was a Senior Director of Product and Head of Product for Platform at an unnamed company and has played a pivotal role as a startup advisor since September 2020, assisting founders with product strategy and organizational challenges. James's previous experience includes positions at Meta, where responsibilities included leading initiatives for Facebook Messenger and managing product teams focused on Facebook Groups, alongside a tenure at Airbnb leading the redevelopment of the company’s website.
