Vince is the Head of Data Engineering where he focuses on developing efficient workflows on scalable data platforms that enable shipping impactful data products.

He spent the previous 5 years growing as a Senior Data Scientist at Shopify where he ran the gamut. A normal week would include spelunking into complex data to carve out business insights, data instrumentation and data modelling. There he contributed to Shopify’s growing 76,000 Spark jobs and its daily 300 terabytes of data assets that powers its business.

In his free time, Vince enjoys cycling in nature at the local Hydrocut trail system. He also cherishes his role as a father and loves taking his family camping. His guilty pleasure remains the occasional video game with a recent interest in VR.
