Inspired by her childhood curiosity about storytelling, Qianbaihui Yang found her passion in motion picture sound. For the past 7 years, she has participated in a variety of film and television projects, commercials, and amusement park attractions as a sound editor, sound designer, and re-recording mixer. Working primarily at Skywalker Sound in Marin County, Calif., she has collaborated with filmmakers from all over the world and created soundtracks overseas. With her unique background and language skills, Qianbaihui has worked on many Chinese and Chinese-American co-production projects. She is the recipient of one Golden Reel Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing for her work on Next Gen in 2019.
