Gilbert Chen has worked in the technology sector for the past 11 years. Gilbert started their career in 2009 as a Strategy Consultant at Tencent. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at eBay as a Business Data Analyst and Senior Business Data Analyst. Since 2016, they have been a Senior Vice President at Skyview Capital, a middle-market growth equity and Venture Capital firm based in Los Angeles. Theirfocus is on technology private investments in sectors such as tech, telecom, software, SaaS, gaming, Fintech (crypto/NFT), and media.

Gilbert Chen attended Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelors Degree in Applied Physics. Gilbert then attended Stanford University from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a Masters Degree in Science Management & Engineering. Finally, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2018 to 2019, where they earned an MBA in Managerial Economics.
