Danny Allen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2010, they co-founded Tar Heel Bikes and served as a co-founder until 2014. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Tennis Instructor and Facilities Person at the Greensboro Tennis Program. In 2012, they served as an Analyst at g-bit.com and IronOak Energy. In 2013, they worked as an Analyst Intern at Matthews, Young & Associates, Inc.

In 2014, Danny became a 2014 Venture for America Fellow, where they spent two years working at a startup or in the startup support ecosystem in multiple U.S. cities. During their time at Venture for America, they also worked as a Manager of Venture Services at NextEnergy Center, where they coordinated business support services for early-stage energy and transportation companies.

In 2017, Danny joined Clean Energy Leadership Institute as an SF Fall 2017 Fellow. Danny then moved to ChargePoint, where they held various roles, including Program Manager for Home Solutions, Product Marketing Manager for AC Charging, and, most recently, Product Portfolio Manager for Commercial and Multifamily.

Danny's latest position is as a Product Manager at SkySpecs, where they started in 2022.

Danny Allen attended UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2010 to 2014, where they pursued majors in Business Administration and Political Science. Danny also completed a minor in Environmental Studies during this time. In 2012, Danny briefly studied at Copenhagen Business School, although the specific degree or field of study pursued there is unknown.
