Leonardo Nickel is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining complex software systems. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Skyscanner since October 2019, Leonardo previously held senior engineering roles at Klarna and GoEuro, focusing on microservices and travel integration. Prior to that, as a Technical Lead at Walmart eCommerce, Leonardo contributed to enhancing user experience in the checkout system and also led the development of a comprehensive search system. Early career experience includes positions at UOL, Ozonion, Ericsson, and Voice Technology, highlighting expertise in Java, NoSQL solutions, and high-performance systems. Leonardo holds a degree in Information Systems from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de São Paulo.
