José Piracés has a long history of work experience. José started as an Ayudante Alumno at the Facultad de Ingenieria UNCUYO in 2006. In 2011, they became a Mechanical Engineering Consultant at INVAP, specializing in structural analysis for Mechanical Environmental tests and Mechanical analyst during Qualification Tests of satellites, radar, and nuclear reactor components. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer, Finite Element Analyst, and Technical Sales at Endeavour IngenierÃa S.R.L. During this time, they also worked as a Finite Element Analyst and Structural Engineer at Tricom Scan. In 2017, they began working at NSF's NOIRLab as a Mechanical Engineer and Opto-Mechanical Design. Finally, in 2018, they became an Optical and Optomechanical Engineer at Skyloom Global.
José Piracés completed a Mechanical Engineering Engineer's degree from Instituto Balseiro between 2005 and 2011. José then went on to obtain an Optical Engineering Certificate Program from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education in 2019-2020.
