Anke Stohlmann

Principal User Researcher at Skylight

Anke Stohlmann is a Principal User Researcher at Skylight and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute, where focus lies on transformation design through a human-centered approach. As the founder of Li'l Stories, Stohlmann promotes creative thinking in elementary classrooms and successfully launched the project via Kickstarter in 2016. Previously, Stohlmann served as Executive Director of Design at The New York Times, co-leading the development of the company's employee site and directing UX and design management. Stohlmann's experience includes roles at Nava as Design Manager, a Senior Fellow at Public Policy Lab, and a faculty member at the School of Visual Arts. Stohlmann holds an MFA in Interaction Design from the School of Visual Arts, an MPS in Design Management from Pratt Institute, and a Diplom in Graphic Design/Visual Communications from Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences.
