Alinstein Jose has been working in the tech industry since 2017. In 2017, they were a Program Analyst at Cognizant, where they performed User Acceptance testing of Clinical Electronic case report forms and automated testing of case report forms using Selenium. In 2019, they were a Tutorial Teaching Assistant and Laboratory Teaching Assistant at the University of Victoria, where they prepared and delivered tutorials on signals and systems every week and trained students to use MATLAB. In 2020, they were a Software Engineer intern, Computer Vision at Matrox and a Software Developer intern, Machine Learning at MakerMax Inc. Currently, they are a Machine Learning Engineer at Skylab Technologies Inc. and a Machine Vision Engineer at AutoMetrics Manufacturing Technologies Inc.

Alinstein Jose's education history includes a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer engineering from the University of Victoria, obtained between 2019 and 2021, as well as an Engineer's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology, obtained between 2013 and 2017.
