Paulo Eduardo Vasconcelos has a diverse work experience beginning with their current role as a Spacecraft Engineer at Skykraft. Prior to this, they worked as a Doctoral Researcher at UNSW from September 2019 to February 2023. During their time at BTG Pactual from May 2019 to September 2019, they served as a Financial Analyst where they automated artificial intelligence email-reply systems and developed user interfaces to increase efficiency in financial market products. From 2016 to 2019, Paulo was a Global Ambassador and Peer Mentor at Arizona State University, managing a budget for engineering-oriented programs and conducting research in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Paulo Eduardo also worked at ISAE-SUPAERO as an Aerodynamics (CFD) Intern, developing and testing a CFD code for simulations. Lastly, Paulo interned as a Virtual Reality Intern at CESAR - Instituto de Inovação, where they developed an online shopping platform and tested a pizza-delivery system using augmented and virtual reality technology.

Paulo Eduardo Vasconcelos completed their Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at Arizona State University from 2015 to 2019. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the same field at UNSW from 2019 to 2022.
