Brian Hartel has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Brian began their career at Schlumberger in 2011 as a Field Engineer. In 2012, they joined Boeing as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2018. During their time at Boeing, they gained valuable experience in software development. In 2018, Brian joined SkyKick and started as a Software Engineer. Brian quickly progressed within the company and held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineering Lead. Brian's current role at SkyKick is as a Software Engineering Lead, a position they have held since May 2022.

Brian Hartel obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University in 2011. Brian later pursued a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Penn State World Campus, completing the degree in 2016.
