Kyle Bowen is a seasoned professional in educational technology with significant leadership experience. Currently serving as Deputy CIO and Executive Director of Learning Experience at Arizona State University since February 2020, Bowen previously held the position of Director of Teaching and Learning with Technology at Penn State University from February 2014 to February 2020. Co-Founder and CTO of Skyepack since October 2012, Bowen plays a key role in developing mobile content solutions based on technology created at Purdue University. Bowen’s extensive background includes serving as Director of Informatics at Purdue University, a position held from May 1999 to January 2014, and involvement with the New Media Consortium as a board member from June 2017 to June 2018. Earlier career roles included Educational Technologist at John Wiley and Sons and authoring educational texts for Thomson Delmar Learning. Kyle Bowen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and a Master of Education in Learning Design and Technology from Penn State University.
