Samuel Wang is an experienced autonomy engineer at Skydio since March 2020, previously serving as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at DJI from February 2017 to March 2020, where contributions included the development of the Onboard SDK and collaboration on the Matrice 200 series. Samuel also gained experience as a Robotics Engineer Intern at Near Earth Autonomy, developing trajectory planning software for quadrotors, and conducted research at National Chiao Tung University, resulting in three published journal papers. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Robotic Systems Development from Carnegie Mellon University, a Deep Learning Nanodegree from Udacity, a Master of Science in Control Engineering, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, all from National Chiao Tung University.
