Clam S has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2013 as a Legislative Assistant for the State of Hawaii. In this role, Clam S maintained PR for the representative and drafted speeches and media communications. In 2015, Clam S became a Medical Assistant at the University of Washington Medical Center, creating graphics and illustrations for clinic display and drafting a comprehensive medical assistant training manual. From 2016 to 2018, Clam S worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer, creating digital assets, branding, and deliveringables. In 2018, Clam S became a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Washington, recruiting patients for five prostate cancer clinical trials and modifying a clinical trial protocol. In 2021, Clam S began working as an Apartment Manager for Pacific Crest Real Estate and as a Production Artist for Sky Organics. In this role, Clam S managed and developed branded assets and marketing collateral, assisted with the rebranding of Sky Organics, and catalogued and organized produced brand assets.
Clam S has a diverse educational background. In 2007, they began their undergraduate studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art/Art Studies, General, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a Bachelor's degree in Art/Art Studies, General, which they completed in 2012. In 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Medical/Clinical Assistant from the Pima Medical Institute. In 2020, they completed a Certificate in UX & Visual Design Interface from the University of Washington and obtained a Collaboration Certification from UW Professional & Continuing Education. In 2021, they completed a Certificate in Front-End Web Development from General Assembly and are currently enrolled in a Master of Fine Arts in Media Design at Full Sail University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
