S V Rajagopalan began their career as Assistant Manager in operations at ACC Limited from 1997 to 2004 and worked as a Project Engineer at Tata Electric Companies in 1997-1998. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Tamil Nadu College of Engineering (1993-1997) and completion of secondary education at The Boys Higher Secondary School - Srirangam (1986-1993).
